PROCEDURE OF TEACHING

The teaching-learning process starts with the preparation; Planning, Implementing and Evaluating.

Lesson planning is very important, preparation of materials as a part that needed and making myself ready to start my class.

I started my class with a prayer and a greeting, followed by an energizer or motivation activity just to maintain the interest of my student in my class. After that I was able to introduce the topic using word games that the students really enjoyed. Then, I gave them a activity that having a prior knowledge about the topic. Directly I open my discussion about the certain topic how to reduce food waste.

After discussion, I gave them a video presentation for them to watch and relate it to the topic that I already discussed.

As I end my class I include assessment through oral recitation to evaluate their learning during my class.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

In classroom management, it was not that hard to create environment that supports and facilitate in both academic and social emotional learning. Creating a strong classroom culture or a practices that include catching their attention by throwing some questions so that they will not be distracted by the other things and turning "I don't know" to "Now I know". Learners are truly enjoying and actively participating in the activities that I deeply involved them so that no one left behind.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Students’ problem solving skill are being developed through the given activities such as fun games, scrabbled letters, finding the magic word, throwing a high order thinking skill questions that they can relate it to their own lives, and showing some videos and left them hanging why there is such thing happened in this world so that they are aware and think possible solutions what is happening around the world.

I throw a question for my students that make them head-scratching; "As a student, how can you help your country to stop wasting food where you can see people experience hunger?"
